Winter LUSH review

The thing about moving away is that everything is different. When I found out that I was officially going to move away and be somewhat on my own..the first thing I knew that I wasn't going to have anymore was baths. Sure I'd go home but being home for the weekend, I probably wouldn't have as much time. Therefore I decided to pop some of my Christmas LUSH presents into the bath and of course whip out a review post for you all. 
 I love LUSH and I really only discovered it a little less than a year ago (where was I?). But I was really excited for it to be winter as they bring out their new items. 

 The first new Bath Bomb that I had tried out was Cinders. 

Small in size, Cinders still gives off a nice citrus-y smell. Though I did look at the little pamphlet that came in my Lush box and it had stated that it fizzed and crackled, somewhat like a fire, but that never happened for me. It does look like it holds the ingredient to create that effect, though it never went off for me. Maybe it was a dud, I will probably still purchase this one next year just to see!

A not so new Bath Bomb that I had decided to try, was Dragon's Egg. 

This Bath Bomb was a really fun one. Lush writes this as a sherbert-y citrus scent, which was very true. It smelled incredible. I had added bubbles to the bath, that's why it is so bubbly. (Just in case you were wondering, but you probably weren't.) Near the end of the bath I started to realize that this bath bomb left behind a nice orange color as well as sparkles. And who doesn't want a bath filled with sparkles? It wasn't a lot as to where it might stain the tub or anything but in the end it made me feel great and I still had a few sparkles on me when I got out. 

Winter is the perfect time for a bath, at least if you live in temperatures less than 0 degrees. I know these are only two of the bath bombs that I used, but I also used an old favorite that I've already reviewed called Fizzbanger and you can read that review if you'd like right here.

A few months back, in June, I had stopped by the Mall Of America to visit LUSH for the very first time. In August I shared my reviews on three of the products I had picked up (which you can read about here). There was still a good number of LUSH products waiting to be used, I decided to do another review, of three other Bath Bombs I had gotten.


The first product I tried, was the Bubbleroon.

I picked this up in the store and I instantly fell in love with the smell. Picture chocolate and coconut. It smelled so amazing and even though I could not wait to use it, I was a bit hesitant at first because I didn’t want to lose the scent but I figured that I would be back at LUSH in no time. LUSH’s bubble bars are easy to break and you can get a lot of tub time out of them. They’re easier to split than bath bombs and create bubbles instead of fizzy, colorful baths. Though you can pair up scents if you want, like using a bath bomb and parts of the bubble bars as well!

The second product I decided to try out was Ickle Baby Bot.


This was given to me by my mom, as she knows how much I love LUSH. It’s a cute little blue colored robot. It smells very nicely, and gives the bath a beautiful light blue color! Inside this little guy has a lavender smell to him which immediately relaxes and soothes a person. On the website, it says that it’s helpful in rewiring kids energy and helping them get to sleep. Don’t be afraid to use it for yourself. We’re all big kids anyway right?



The third product I picked out from my basket of LUSH bath bombs and bubble bars was the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. 



The smell that comes off this bar is incredible. Every time I would even go near my little basket of LUSH goodies, I would smell this, so I was really excited to give it a try! Like the Bubbleroon, this bubble bar was also easy to pull apart and crumble under the water. I always crush mine in a small clear bag before I use it. It created a lot of long lasting bubbles and I was really happy with it! It gives off a delicious sweet scent. Think vanilla and cotton candy. So if you have a sweet tooth, then this one is for you! The site states that the Candy Bubble Bar is also loaded with cocoa butter to soften and moisturize your skin.

If you've been reading for awhile, you would know that in June I traveled to the Mall Of America and stopped (for the very first time) at LUSH. You can read that post here.  Right now, I've used only three of the bath bombs and a fourth of one of the bubble bars.
  If you have never been to LUSH or never even heard of it, I suggest you check it out! I first heard about LUSH from Tanya Burr (you and watch her videos here).
 When I went to LUSH I was really excited. I had heard great things about their products and I was extremely eager to try them out for myself!


 The first thing I tried was the Bath Bomb called Butterball. At US stores, the Butterball bath bomb is $4.95. It's small in size but gives off an amazing smell. It doesn't change your bath water different colors as other bombs do but it'll give you a really nice smooth feeling once you get out of the bath! If you like vanilla-scented things then I definitely suggest this guy! It also made my dry feet really smooth, I was very pleased!

 The second Bath Bomb that I decided to test out was the Secret Garden Bath Bomb. In US stores, it comes in at $5.45. This little green bath bomb was really fun to set in the tub and watch it work it's magic. My bath turned green first, then the pink flower started mixing in with it. This bomb still made my skin feel really nice and it gave off a floral scent. There were a few hidden flower petals inside it, which I wasn't expecting and found the small brown flakes in my bath a little strange.

The third Bath Bomb I decided to try, was one of the bigger ones. As Secret Garden and Butterball both came smaller, I thought it would be fun to try out Fizzbanger. I've been trying to be biased about these but Fizzbanger might have been one of my favorites! At the US stores it's purchased at $5.95. It gives off an amazing Apple-Cinnamon smell and yes it does change the water color as well! Inside the Fizzbanger Bath Bomb is supposed to be a little piece of paper that says BANG! but I only found a blank piece of paper but I wasn't that disappointed as the crackling candy pieces were just as fun!

So far I've only tried these three. I still have yet to use the two bubble bars and the Avobath Bath bomb! I will definitely let you guys know what I think of them when I try them out!
